Bad Customer Service
My daughter and I went to Ulta in Winchester, Va to spend our $14.00 in purchase points. We got our selections,headed to cashier and asked her to redeem our points. The cashier told us that we had only $9 in points and we wanted to use them. She asked us if we wanted to have receipt emailed and I said "yes". We left the store and went to a different store (same complex) and realized that she had not credited us our points ($9). We came right back and the cashier acted as if she had never seen us or made the purchase. I asked her if she could refund us the points and she said "not without a receipt ." I told her that I didn't have my phone on me (which I didn't )and was an hour away to retrieve it. She didn't care and didn't want to accommodate us and bring up register receipt. My points expire June 30th and I will be out of state. Thanks Emily and ulta for your crappy customer service!

Disappointed in Ulta on Cattleman…
I went to the Ulta on Cattleman in Sarasota today. I needed some me time. I was so excited to get away from my 3 children and just shop! I am new to Ulta and I was so excited!!!! I was looking around and thought about getting my hair done so I asked the girl standing at the salon for the prices. She was very much inconvenienced because whatever movie she was watching was more important than doing her job. She was so rude and definitely made me feel like I was stupid to not know the answers to my questions. I walked away very offended and almost left. But I decided to look at straighteners. Good thing I did because another employee (I didn't get her name) came and was very kind. She changed my attitude about the store. Until right now. I was looking on the app at the totes that are free with a $75 purchase. When I got to the front to pay I asked the girl about the totes, she said it isn't in that store. That Ulta is trying to encourage people to shop online and that the totes are not in the store. Well according to what I just checked the store does have the totes in stock. I spent $342. I feel like they shouldn't treat me like I dont belong... I am a paying customer. I am not rude at all. I am actually very friendly. I am very offended by my visit there today. Which really sucks because I absolutely love what I seen there and now I dont want to go back!

Ruined daughters birthday gift
UPDATE - their customer service has contacted me in an attempted to resolve this matter. They can’t make it perfect but it’s a great effort on their part. Shipped my 10 year old step-daughter a makeup kit and comb as a gift from Ulta. Turns out they sold me a makeup kit that was out of stock and then shipped my daughter a $1 comb for her birthday. I’m pretty sure if that’s all She was going to get, I would have just cancelled the order before humiliating ourselves by sending a $1 comb. However, I wasn’t given that opportunity.

I experienced outstanding customer…
I experienced outstanding customer service at store 93 in Katy TX. Leah the retail associate was very knowledgeable with the products for people of color. She gathered foundation colors that she believed would best compliment my skin. Leah was very patient with me in explaining the process for applying make up. She also informed me about Ulta's return policy during Covid 19. I am grateful for her service; she really helped me alot. I will be returning to Ulta.

Horrible app, horrible customer service. They delete your rewards points and can't help you
The * worst company I have had to deal with. I applied for their Master card before COVID, got approved and used it month later for gifts, etc outside their business. Upon approval one is supposed to get the 20% off coupon. I didnt, I called, and the specialist was helpful. I reached platinum within the month, and supposedly got the extra points that comes with the status. I spent over $1000, I had over $50 rewards points. I paid my bill in full, was perusing their site and checking my account post bill. My points had disappeared! I emailed them immediately, no response. I called them 48 hours later for followup, professional email allotted time, and I got excuse of 1 week turn around for answer + the assurance a supervisor would call me back. I called again, to get the run around and reminder excuse that a supervisor would return my request within a week (on my 2nd call 2 weeks after issue). Officially a week and a day, after they supposedly made my issue high priority, and still no call-back. My sister and others said they suck, and I didn't listen. Be prepared to follow up and double check your rewards if you're not already anal. I don't scream at customer service, looking for an answer not high blood pressure and was told I messed up and 'should have used their app, not their website'... why even have an app then??****August Update: on my 5th call, the rep (quit making excuses for previous specialist who hung up on me or was unable to reach a supervisor) immediately I was connected to a supervisor and after 13min waiting in call line, Alejandra fixed the issue in 2min it took me to log into my email and rewards account. I used my points on needed brushes instead of saving them towards expensive skin care later on.... in case this happens again.

Constant missing items in online orders.
I've been an avid ulta rewards member and shopper for going on I years now and at first eveything qas great, but starting this year I keep getting orders with missing items. My past order I ordered 14 items from the 21 days of beauty sale. Of my 14 item a I only recieved 3 of them and they were the gifts that came with the purchase of the items I bought. There was only 1 tracking number, so the items did not ship separately. The order slip also only says 3 items. I called and they reordered my items, but 4 items are now out of stock. How does anyone misplace 11 items. This ridiculous. It's like evey other order something is missing.

Online ordering? No prob!
I've never had a problem when ordering online. I have always gotten my free gifts, the packages are always packed well, and I have even gotten my cash back from Rakuton. I also have never had a problem with a clitchy site, like others it seems has had. My experience was flawlessly executed from beginning to end. Tho, in all honesty I agree that the delivery takes a good while, which is why I order online now and pick up in store. I'm sorry so many people have had bad experiences with Ulta.com but I hope they rectify the issues with everyone.
