Stayed in Hastings
Stayed in Hastings. Wanted to compliment all of their lovely friendly staff from Reception to the bar to ladies doing breakfast.The pizzas were delicious, and we would have to give them 11 out of 10 ! Unlimited Breakfast was all fresh and cooked to perfection.We just wanted to show our appreciation to your wonderful staff.

Surprised that it was good
In several we have stayed in over a good few years we haven't had a problem. Often not 'great service' as staff seems unenthused but I guess we can't all be smiling all the time.We normal only stay a night or maybe 2 but never no more. We found the last one we stayed at in Twickenham was clean and quiet big for the cost of the room - bargain! (This review is talking about both pre-covid and till time of review; in an variety of hotels)

Super room E&C very disappointing.
Normally i give a good review for Travelodge, however on this occasion i was very disappointed with the super rooms.I called the day before my stay and was told i could not ask for a certain room. i have been told before that i could do this.I had a room on the 3rd floor of The Elephant and Castle hotel and the bathroom was very very small. It looks like it was a standard room, but they put a coffee machine and large chair in there to make it like a super room.I have staid here 3 times before ( on the 2nd floor and had not had any issues).When i spoke to a Spanish lady at reception she just kept saying sorry sorry sorry, in a way she did not mean it.Tried to call the hotel to speak with the manager, but no answer. This is a Travelodge Plus , so it should be to the highest of standards.At least once a month i stay with Travelodge.

Travelodge rooms are unwelcoming
Travelodge rooms are unwelcoming empty boxes with a bed, one chair and a dressing table. Even double rooms only have one chair so it it is impossible to relax. Any clothes which can't be hung now have to live in the floor.Huddersfield was clean and well run but we won't be using Travelodge again.

Booked into travelodge york Central on…
Booked into travelodge york Central on 5th May and only had a small case and holdall got in 10: 30 and asked if we could leave our bags while we went shopping as we couldn't check in till 3 hotel wouldn't take our bags which we found strange most hotels have a lock up room,it didn't spoil our stay but I think it's something they should implement as a standard if we had been staying longer and had a larger case we would have had to haul it around for nearly 5 hours I will definitely stay elsewhere next time and breakfast to go at £5.25 is to be avoided as it's a joke for what's in it

Good location. Good stay.
A few weeks ago i staid at the Southwark Hotel.I had booked an early check in and a double Super room.I arrived at 12.10 and the room was not ready.The manager called Robel was very sorry and he said it should be ready in 5 minuets. He asked me to take a seat in reception and would sort the room as soon as possible.Within 5 minuets the room was ready. He thanked me for waiting.Staid at this hotel a lot.It's only 2 minutes walk from the underground and in a good location for visiting London.I staid in a Super room and had a lovely view. I went down to reception for more coffee pods and the staff were glad to help.No other issues.

Love that their hotels are all dog friendly .Think their rooms are pretty good for the price .I’d rather stay at Travelodge & know I’ll get a good size room that’s bright & clean then get a disappointing experience at a mediocre overpriced B&B or hotel

I recently gave a unsatisfactory review about Travelodge and their lack of any customer service when urgently required.The response from Travelodge Customer Services and inparticular Amy Norris was, swift and direct. Addressing my concern and with no hesitation, considering my type of reservation I received a full refund and offer to further reimburse phone costs accrued using their premium telephone number.Travelodge do back up the ethos regarding their customer service.Thank you

Very competitive price and good rooms
This is based on my 4 nights stay in Travelodge, London Mile End.Accomodation is very expensive in London and Travelodge was one of few more affordable options. Booking online was rather easy, they charge your credit card and hold the fund for a week or so to guarantee the booking.Payment is actually made at the hotel.Everything was very easy and e-mail enquiry was answered within 2 days. The room was very spacious considering the price and outside noise was completely shut off.Only downside would be lack of free wi-fi. Free wifi is provided for 30 minutes and you have to pay 3 quids per day to continue to use. Speed of the wi-fi was good.Would I stay in Travelodge again?Yes, definitely.
