I love the clothes and bargain deals

I love the clothes and bargain deals. I travel a fair amount for pleasure and spend a lot of time playing with my preschool grandchildren. I can look fashionable while feeling like I’m wearing yoga clothes. I get compliments often. My 25 year old daughter has actually ordered some of the plaid pants and thick sweaters too. It’s not just for active grandmothers.

For the most part

For the most part, I really appreciate JJill's clothing and Service. I have not been displeased with the majority of my purchases and have been purchasing from JJill for years. I don't use the credit card I got from them years ago. It didn't work well for me, so I just use my PayPal. Since their prices are so high, I usually wait till they go on sale and then pick out what I want. No complaints there. Would like faster shipping or at least free shipping on occasion, is one thing I would ask. Lately they have added more color to their inventory and that has been good. What they had before was beginning to get mundane. Love the Wearever knit dresses. I have bought a number of them on discount. Not real satisfied with the Wearever pants or toppers. They don't seem as well made. All in all, I recommend JJill for anyone who likes their style. But the full priced items are simply much too high when you can get much the same quality elsewhere for much less. If you check the sales, however, you won't be sorry. Oh, one other thing. When I plan to buy something I like to first read the reviews. Unfortunately, it no longer shows me the details of anyone's review including those that I write. This inclines to make me go purchase elsewhere, since reviews mean a lot to me.

I love shopping at the south hills village store . The sales staff are incredibly helpful and nice. The store always looks wonderful and so put together just like the sales associates. Every visit to this store is a joy!

Great clothes that can be worn over and over again, I'm a grade school art teacher, so I am tough on my clothes...spots, stains, little hands....the wearever collection holds up well, doesn't seem to stain, is as comfortable as PJ's, and looks professional.

I absolutely love this store

I absolutely love this store. I have found the quality to be dependably excellent and I find lots of styles that support my needs and fashion sense. As a teacher, I need to look put together in the morning, and exactly the same in the afternoon, even if I've been sitting on the floor and climbing in the playground! These are easy, effortless looks, great textiles, and colors and prints that I love! Lots of days when I receive a compliment about what I'm wearing, my answer is simply, "Thanks. It's J. Jill."

i am not impressed with the quality of their merchandise

i am not impressed overall with jjill quality but as a lifelong seamstress, well trained ,i have very high standards. what concerns me someone else may not notice. i do buy linen blouses there. but only on sale. they are over priced . i have only purchased one nonlinen blouse , it came today, and it is lovely. but no way was it worth the original 89 dollar price. i got a fabulous deal on a killer sale. i would recomend waiting for their sales. then the prices are fair. i had very good experiences with customer service. those workers are just the last rung in a long line and often have no control over much of anything.they were helpful to me, even forgave shipping charges on an item i reordered in a different size, my error , they gave me reduced shipping. i hadnt even thought to ask. i would like to see them start using higher quality linen, i am willing to pay what they ask for a linen blouse, just not their linen blouse. i go elsewhere for superior quality. jjill is okay. but they get no ovation from me in regard to quality. service was excellent.

I've no idea why the ratings on J Jill…

I've no idea why the ratings on J Jill are low on here. I've been a customer for many years. I left Chico's as "my " shop over 10 years ago for this store. Essentially, I feel good when I wear my Jill's. The fabric is lovely, the fit great, and they wear well for work and play. I've never had anything poorly made. I used to shop there even more before they closed the store in Lakeland, Florida, so now I have to drive way up a crowded interstate for several miles to Wesley Chapel, so I shop there less. I won't pay shipping to order on line. Anyway, they're good, simple, easy to wear and look good clothes.

When you have a credit card with JJill

When you have a credit card with JJill, as well as with several other companies, you have to deal with Comenity Bank. Sometimes it is hard to me to keep track of these usually small bills and one can fall through the cracks. I recently had a problem with taking care of a small bill with JJill. Comenity Bank was no help. But someone from JJill reached out to me and made it right. I am very appreciative of that. If you don't like your results with Comenity Bank, there is hope with JJill itself.

I stumbled upon the J.Jill.com website recently and have received several orders. I find their customer service top-notch, uber-quick to respond and accommodate, and their clothing absolutely beautiful and good quality. I totally recommend them. Why all these 2 and 3 stars? I don't get it, as women I've talked to say that they love J.Jill, too!

I was silly and did not fully read the shipping and return policies before placing my order. J. Jill charges very high shipping and handling fees on their orders and also charges shipping to return or exchange items so now I'm out about $20 on an order I had to return. In today's world of many free shipping/exchange policies for online orders, I will take my money and shop elsewhere from now on.

JJill Not Easy for Petite Women

Although there are two JJill stores in New York City where I reside, in neither of them are there any Petite sizes available, although most items in their online and in their catalogue are in petite and women's sizes . If one wants to purchase a petite size at their stores, one must order it there and then it will be sent out with free shipping. The beauty of having a store in one's area is that one can try the clothes on for a more accurate fit. This is especially helpful with this company because their clothes tend to run large. But this convenience is not available to Petite women although JJill proudly advertise that they fit Regular, Tall and Petite. If after visiting one of their stores, then ordering a Petite at the store and having to wait for it to be mailed, the item on arrival doesn't fit and has to be sent back this is a tremendous inconvenience and waste of time. Why are Petite women discriminated against????

Easy buying experience / good quality clothes

I've ordered from JJill four times in the last year. Just got my latest order - of Superga slip on shoes, a couple of pants, two shirts, and several tank tops. The quality of the items are super good. But I always read reviews before purchasing so I've been happy with my buy's b/c of the real customer feedback on their website. Love this feature on their website.I also use their store credit card that gives and extra 5% discount. Overall, always consistent delivery service. And they have promos if you are on their mailing list. Wish shipping was a little cheaper though - it's about $12.
