Not very low calorie
I’ve been getting Home Chef for about 18 months and I have to say their meals and food is exceptional. I have tried things and combinations that I would have not thought of or tried before and truly enjoyed. I have not been ordering it lately because I am really wanting low calorie meals and they just aren’t any good options. Finding something that is 400 calories are less is not going to happen here and when you are eating 1200 calories a day it becomes and issue. I really wish they would develop some truly low calorie food!

First Time, but not the last!
We had our first Home Chef meal this evening. Our 20-year-old son, no chef by any stretch of the imagination, followed the instructions for shrimp. He was chopping bok choi and sprinkling spices and browning shrimp like a pro. The meals were shipped beautifully. The produce looks great. The protein was great. We could not have gotten a better meal if we had gone out to a restaurant. Since we can't really go out to restaurants right now - what a treat to have a restaurant-quality meal at home prepared by a true amateur. And, he had fun doing it! Tomorrow, tacos, the next day, scallops, next week who knows?

Date Night, Every Night
My boyfriend and I both work demanding jobs that often leave little room for us in the evenings. Home Chef is definitely the best...
Home Chef is definitely the best home dinner delivery service, period, hands down. We have tried two other services and there is no comparison to the quality of the ingredients and the selection of meals. The kids (17, 14, 13) all LOVE the dinners. They have actually started helping with the meals because they are so simple and have turned dinner time into a true family affair. It's something to look forward to!

A Horrible First Impression
Last week, I signed up for Home Chef. I found an amazing introductory offer that I could not resist. I waited all week for my order that was to arrive on Monday (yesterday)... I was so excited. Monday came and around 7:30PM, I still didn't have my order. I tracked it (again) and it said that Fed Ex delivered it around 4:30PM. I was home all day; never heard a sound at my door. Called Home Chef today - Alex was nice but he could only refund my money and place the initial credit that I'd been given back on my account which is great for my next order. HOWEVER, what bothers me is the fact that I have to wait an entire week for food. I won't get any food until NEXT MONDAY which is ridiculous. There needs be to be reshipping option in place. I likely won't be staying with Home Chef after my introductory offer ends.

Home Chef has Saved the Day!
My experience with Home Chef has been amazing. I am very happy I chose Home Chef over all the other home meal kit services (and trust me I researched thoroughly) and was previously a Hello Fresh customer. I feel as if Home Chef recipe allow me to be creative and are diverse. With variety of choices every week and additions! I enjoy cooking and it is a stress reliever for me. I signed myself up prior to this craziness of COVID-19, so the timing could not have been better for us. I received $100 off my first four meals. I chose the meal kit for two, meals typically start at $9.95 per serving. The portions are a good size, I have had about two instances where my boyfriend was still hungry or I felt as if I need a heartier side dish. However, I really do enjoy not having leftovers. My issue when I cook is I tend to cook for an Army, with Home Chef it keeps me from wasting food (especially since there’s two of us, not ten)! Overall I am very impressed with Home Che. I am able to skip a week if I need, only order two meals or order as many as I want. The additions of smoothies, snacks and protein packs are all bonuses! My long winded review bottom line: I highly suggest Home Chef! It is also my understanding Home Chef does offer vegetarian, keto and other dietary options.

I am not sure I understand people negativity in that sense anyway. I always use them especially now when I have tons of taks cause of quarantine worldwide measures on all over the world anyway. Their foods are quite nice and tasty, thanks for that!
