I have bought over 50 wigs and hair pieces from this company. For over 15 to 20 years I have needed to wear a wig or other hair pieces. It is my opinion that they have improved the quality and variety of styles and colors as time progressed. The most frequent comment I hear when people tell me they love my hair is "That doesn't look like a wig, it's so natural looking!" Or they feel the fibers and remark "But it feels so real". The new lighter wig bases are very comfortable in the summer heat and I have really appreciated that this year.

After a horrific accident and all the medicines I was taking, I really noticed how thin my hair was getting, so I decided on trying a wig and so blessed that I found this website. The Shannon wig looks SO REAL and NATURAL and I even fooled my in laws, and those at church.

Wigs are fine. Prices are good. Ordering is easy. But beware if you ever need to return a wig from Canada. It is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I often don’t believe these negative reviews, or think they are the exception, until it happened to me! The worst thing was someone in their receiving company helped themselves to a shopping spree using my credit card information!1. The “pre-paid” label they send is not pre-paid. You have to pay Canada Post’s high fees.2. The tracking info was not updated when received. Canada Post said it was received but there is something strange happening at the location that they were not at liberty to say.3. Even though received, it takes at least 45 days for the Canada receiver to communicate this with the US company. (Supposedly they wait until they have a bulk shipment). So it takes a long time to receive a credit. (I did eventually get a credit toward an exchange and finally received a wearable wig about 3 months after I first placed the order.)4. Phoning them is very annoying. Once you get through the automated system and wait for a live agent, they keep placing you on hold. Speaking to a regular agent is useless for anything other than a simple order. The supervisors are OK, if you can handle the wait to get one.5. Then the credit card company called me to say my card had been compromised. There were charges in Ontario to the US card that I had only used with Paula Young. I called the company about this, and the supervisor just kept repeating “I am so sorry”.In short:• do not order from this company if you are unsure about the wig. • Read the reviews carefully. (Watch out for way too much hair at the front.). • If you have to return, insist on sending it to the US rather than the Canadian company.

I have purchased 6 or 7 wigs and a couple of ponytail wraps from Paula Young over a period of 3 years. My natural hair is white and very thin even 3 years after very harsh chemotherapy. It is not easy to find wigs and hair pieces in white that look natural. However, I have been very satisfied with the Whisperlite line that Paula sells. And, as far as I know the only line I know of with finer hair that is not so dense as to look like a clown or a helmet head. Take note you ladies who buy that course thick stuff from other companies, I can spot your wigs from a mile away. But I get many compliments and surprised looks when I tell people I am wearing a wig--looks like my natural hair did 10 years ago. I find the quality to be on par with wigs I have purchased in other brands--only I pay a lot less. And, I get handtied that I could not otherwise afford. I am tired of t he dissing I read from other reviewers--they must be ordering the wrong product.

I found many negative reviews about Paula Young Hair Company on line, I don't get that, I have had an amazing experience with the company!! I have purchased many different wigs and toppers and they are Spectacular!! I have spoken with reps a few times on the ones I returned and I found them to be great, very nice and helpful. I certainly did not expect to get the perfect colour and size the first order, Yes it takes a bit of trial and air but once you learn colours with styles it is fantastic! I do not mind paying for shipping a few times to achieve a great product at reasonable prices. I am very Thank for finding PY!!! I will be a long time customer!!!
