Helped my vulnerable brother save £66!

My brother has a speech & learning disability, and I have recently been assisting him in trimming some of his direct debits. He called Sky today as his package didn’t reflect his usage. It is a huge deal for him to make a phone call and he was very anxious, although when he got through he explained his speech challenge and was guided to the best package by a lovely and understanding person on the phone. He has reduced his package to suit him, and also signed up to Sky Mobile saving him £66 per month on sky and phone bills in total. I’m very grateful to how my brother was treated, and I wanted to highlight this - nice one Sky!

We have found ourselves financially…

We have found ourselves financially stretched due to covid 19 so upon phoning to completely cancel our sky q, we spoke to Anton who really helped us almost half our bill for minimal sacrifices in our plan. Super helpful and friendly. Felt very comfortable and genuinely helped, with no feeling of being pushed into staying or accepting other offers etc. Very good customer service.

Decent company, no problems.

Been with Sky for some time now. I wouldn't say I have major problems with them. I could reach them anytime I wanted. When my contracts ended and the price increased, I would just give them a call, explain my circumstances and I would get a better offer. Broadband speed is steady like 99% of time, so no issues there either.

I had a problem with my server

I had a problem with my server, sky replaced it within 48 hours, I couldn't get my internet on and spoke to KIEREN in customer services, he was amazing, he patiently went through everything with me until it was sorted out, well done kieren and thank you sky for being so helpful during this dreadful pandemic. Rung sky to cancel the package today

Rung sky to cancel the package today, my dad Tony spoke to ‘a top fella’ called Micheal firth from the Leeds contact centre. My dad was very pleased with the outcome, he got a cheaper deal, and said Micheal went above and beyond, was very friendly and professional and will definitely recommend sky to our friends and family. Fantastic service from Sky - what Customer Service should be

Fantastic service from Sky tonight. A special thanks to "Darryl" who has arranged a Sky engineer to come out within less than 48 hours and "Roxanne" who helped with some account set up/linking. Both friendly, very efficient, courteous and resolved the issues. Exactly how Customer Service should be. I had a long chat with Roxanne and told her all about the appalling Linden Homes and NHBC so called "customer service" and said I'd be writing this review. I told her all about my contaminated/uninhabitable house problems & how Greg Fitzgerald, CEO of Linden Homes and Bovis Homes now under Vistry Partnerships has treated me and how Vistry have blocked me on Twitter instead of resolve. I told her about the vast difference between the customer service received from Sky with a TV / Broadband / Phone service compared to a house purchase and the biggest investment of your life. She was particularly interested as she said they were looking to buy their "forever" home so I implored her not to even consider Linden or Bovis, but to read the Trustpilot reviews and not to think I'm an isolated case. Thank you Sky - your service to me tonight has been fantastic and Linden/Vistry should take a leaf out of your book.

Appalling service.

Appalling service.This company has absolutely no concept of customer service and trying to get hold of them, to discuss shockingly bad broadband performance, is almost impossible to achieve right now. Their website states not to call as they are only able to deal with calls from vulnerable customers - which I struggle to reconcile. In the current climate, I fully understand an increase in calls from people struggling financially but why specifically reference the vulnerable ? It is not like you have to leave home to experience the, admittedly bad, Sky service. If it is a genuine position then fair enough but it just smacks of them, unlike other companies who are pulling out all the stops to support UK citizens, using it as an excuse to continue getting away with a [email protected] service.Anyway, I reverted to suspending my DD, expecting it to prompt a call or a letter with a telephone number to call that guaranteed I got through to somebody. How misguided was I ?!?! Instead, I got a non-reply email instructing me to get my DD set back up again or my services will be gradually switched off.Sky is a truly awful organisation and I urge people to seek the services they require from elsewhere ...

An A1 customer service agent & great service

I have been with Sky for years but just before Xmas I decided that wanted to get the package price down. Long story short, the guy I spoke too with a Durham accent (sorry forget your name) was brilliant. He was honest about how to alter my Sky package by taking away what I don’t use & suggested Sky Cinema which I love, he beat all the other mobile phone companies on price, so I joined Sky mobile too & he made me aware of the Sky loyalty scheme. All of this (which does take a while to sort out) was done while he chatted away, having me in stitches laughing most of the time. I honestly haven’t had a better customer service experience that I can remember. Thank you

I have to be honest with this review as I have had my fights with Sky in the past but today I was elated to find that a response to my emai came within minutes.I was getting nowhere with emails to customer services until I sent them an email to ask how they decided who was vulnerable. A lovely lady called Gail said that she had our ages in their accounts and downgraded my account from £59 per month to £29 per month with a refund for overcharges.She also provided me with a phone number that's gets me right through to sky with no pressing buttons 1 2 or 3.I cannot praise her enough for her assistance and will remain a loyal customer to Sky

Recently Cancelled after family bereavement

My mother in law passed away recently after 20+ years with sky , the gentleman I spoke with to cancel her contract (Jason) was absolutely fantastic, he talked me through the entire process and took the time to pass on his condolences..
