Well organized tour of Asian Dhamaka- Malaysia & Singapore tour. Team Thomas cook kept time to time updation while organizing the tour. Well coordinated programe right from airport to hotel, sightseeing. Good hotel accommodation. The role of tour manager namely Sh. Somnath Jane & Ms Noore Irani was excellent. Well organized & updating every minute details making our tour to our satisfaction.

DISGUSTING THOMAS COOK BOSSES

I have travelled with Thomas Cook and they planned the best holiday ever for me. It's a shame they collapsed BECAUSE OF THE DISGUSTING BOSSES. They took the money and caused this. It's as if they deliberately forced this. DISGUSTING. how can they justify this. Do they have no morals. Very angry as I was going to book holiday next year. I LOVE THOMAS COOK. STAFF. THEY WERE FANTASTIC. CRYING THAT ANOTHER GOOD COMPANY GONE.

Shame they have gone bust but i have now won the argument with my husband and we are buying a new kitchen from diy-kitchens.com instead of a Thomas cook holiday to New York. Been on a few Thomas Cook holidays and not had a problem, very sad for all who worked there.

Really disappointed that we now won't get our long awaited long worked hard to save for holiday to Turkey ,18 months of hard work and overtime to afford 2 weeks in the sun ,ok we won't have our holiday and will eventually get our money back, but please spare a thought and my heart goes out to all the Thomas Cook staff who have no job today ,just ordinary working people with families and bills to pay ,

Booked our holiday to Tunisia at the beginning of the year. No issues. Arrive at Newcastle airport 10th September, our flight was with a company called nouvelair. It was like flying in a tin can. Broken arm rests. Manky lap trays. Push past this, we arrive in Enfidha safely! Quick to get through security and we are met with the Thomas cook rep. Very little information given apart from which shuttle bus we board. Told the transfer was 45 minutes... it was double that. No toilet on the bus either. We arrive at our hotel - One Resort Hotel and Spa. Check in was a bit manic. All arriving guests told to fill out paperwork regarding passport information etc - what happened to just scanning passports, paying local tax and letting us get on with the holiday? Eventually we are allowed to check in. Told to leave our cases at the front of reception. No reason given. We were a bit reluctant to leave them but really, had no other option despite arguing this. We were pointed in the right direction to our room - 456. After a good 10-15 minute trek trying to locate our room, we find it. A map of the resort would have been handy! We get in and all looks well, a bit basic and In need of refurbishment but it done us well for the week (Upon closer inspection it turns out the bathroom. door was off its hinges. Not a great start we thought. However after reporting to reception it was mended the following day, along with a socket that was hanging off the wall, exposing wires. Thankfully we have a 10 year old sensible enough not to go poking fingers in). Ten minutes after arriving to our room theres a knock at the door, some kind gentleman on a kart had brought our suitcases to our room. If we had Just be told this when we were told to leave them it would have saved a bit of stress! We have been on many holidays, always all inclusive but this was the first holiday that was infact all inclusive. You can eat and drink 24hrs of the day. We used the express bar daily, the barman (we have forgotten his name) was always pleasant despite the manic rush at times, always brought our drinks and food to our table. The main restaurant, The Meridan was absolute pandemonium. Every night. Even if you got there for it opening it was like a stampede of starving bulls. Cant blame the hotel for this though. Food was ok, we always found something to eat. I would say it's not really catered for its uk visitors. We used the pools daily, both the main pool and the aqua park. Both my son and husband thoroughly enjoyed the aqua park. We never had an issue getting sunbeds, we went along anytime from 8am to 12ish and always managed to get three beds. Only downside to being poolside was the relentless pestering from people selling trips/nuts/jewellery etc. If your firm they will leave you alone. Entertainment team were always on the go, always trying to get everyone involved in activities but didn't pester! Unfortunately had to use the infirmary whilst we were there, even though it was out of hours a nurse travelled back to the resort to see me. There is an extra fee to use the infirmary however as it was an emergency I only had to pay for my treatment only costing 40 Dina! Nurse is a Male, and very well spoken English! Had to leave the resort one morning to buy some anti histamine from a local chemist. Hotel staff called for a taxi with arrived almost immediately. We haggled with the driver for our journey, we offered 30 Dina, he was happy with this. Drove us to the closest chemist, we got there just before opening but there were other people waiting to get in too. Our taxi driver ensured we got seen to first, wouldnt let any one else in until we had finished. We bought antihistamine, mosquito repellant spray and ibuprofen, all for 31 dina! Security on our return to the resort was on point. Wouldnt let us back in until the whole taxi was checked for any abnormalities, he was very through. Also security on the local back, always security present, never once did we feel unsafe given what's happened in the past within tunisia. On a whole we throughly enjoyed our holiday, and would return, but maybe closer to the end of the season....our scottish skin can't handle 30degree heat Haha. Would prefer not to fly with nouvelair again though, on entering our return flight the plane had a bad aroma of really strong urine, we weren't the only ones to notice it. We have given this a 4 star rating but this was for the hotel only. Certain staff work really hard to make it an enjoyable stay, we did tip but only for the staff who were happy enough to help without expecting one. There were others who point blank avoided we were there. None the less, we will return at some point in the future. A holiday is what you make it, we had a few bumps but we still loved it!!

A Crete holiday

I have just flown with Thomas Cook, all booked through a local travel agent. The destination screens were switched off (MT 1178), the food that I had paid for came late into the flight, and no wine or water was offered, only a bland tasting cup of tea. The aircraft felt a little cramped inside, and the message on take off was not very clear,The coach transfer was already waiting at the airport. On the return flight (MT 1179) the destination screens were switched on, in between old episodes of Friends, Again no water or wine, with my meal. The food was nice as well. Why do I have to pay extra for a tiny bottle of wine?. Straight forward journey in both directions.This is my second time of using this company,

Just arrived back from a holiday to Spain. It was an affordable package holiday and the flight wasn’t delayed. The news about the company is a bit sad but hopefully they will survive!

Faultless

Had such a faultless experience with Thomas cook, couldn't recommend them highly enough. Got a good deal on a great hotel, service from Thomas cook was fantastic with a really knowledgeable rep. Even the airline staff were great, keeping us up to date with any issues. After a horrific holiday with tui earlier this year, this was brilliant and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again

Save Thomas COOK!

Bitterly disappointed to learn exemplary Thomas COOK are in financial difficulties.This in total contrast to re-branded Thomson HELLidays...deplorable,T.erribleU.n-ininformedI.diots(Were it not for R.oad T.raffic A.ccidents I should have liked to have reflown with them.Unlike Thomson Hellidays, (Glasgow/Chania) they ensured I safely arrived & returned to Heraklion, Crete/Greece albeit some recent years ago.Should I ever recover these accidents caused by Highland & Yorkshire Councils, ditto Stagecoach gross dereliction of duty of care & respnsibility, on s par with Thomson HELLidays/TUI & B.loody A.bominable (Glasgow) A.irport now Heathrow Airport Holdings {Aberdeen & (Southampton}, I look forward to flying again with TC should they like me ever fully recover.

We've just come back from Marmaris…

We've just come back from Marmaris staying in ideal prime beach hotel with Thomas Cook.Where do I start...The flights were virtually on time outbound and inbound. the hotel was amazing. Room was lovely we got what we requested when booking. just perfect. The hotel food was lovely and something served almost every hour of the day. So much choice. The hotel was so clean and staff very friendly and helpful. The swimming pools were immaculate. If I had to complain about something i honestly would struggle. Thank you Thomas Cook, we had the perfect holiday

Came back from holiday from El Sultan

Came back from holiday from El Sultan, Hammamet on 18/09/2119.It was an amazing place, The food was unbelievable, they cater for everyone. Staff are very frindly and so helpful, so much to do in the complex, spa.jacuzzi,indoor swimming pool,horse riding, tennis, crazy golf plus so much more, definatly recomend , so close to the beech.If i could 6 stars i would.

Went to the Ideal Prime Beach in Marmaris with Thomas Cook, travelled as 3 adults and cannot fault the whole slick operation from booking online, from pre booking seats and meals along with priority check in option, all was perfect from checking in at the airport through security and onto the plane, along with the inclusive meals and drinks nothing was to much trouble, at the hotel the rep was fantastic made sure she got to know everyone and was always pleased to talk to you if you needed to, overall holiday was great and return journey just as good as the outbound, have booked another holiday with them for next April all ready but this time to Hurghada and booked all the extras again, as a family we can't wait to go with them again and already looking for a holiday with them for next September....way way way better customer service than TUI, avoid Tui like the plague.
