Exceptional service rectifying a problem

What could have been a disaster for me ever using Waitrose again, turned into 5 stars .. they were brilliant in rectifying a problem!Flowers due to be delivered on a very special day, with clear instructions to call a mobile (as the bell to the apartment didn't work), were not delivered. The instructions were not read by the Yodel driver. I couldn't contact Yodel, I could do nothing except contact Waitrose Head office by email.Waitrose phoned me at 9.15am the next day and not only ensured the original flowers were delivered that morning by Yodel - but also they arranged an extra bouquet and chocolates hand delivered by the local Waitrose store. THANK YOU my daughter in lockdown trying to study was delighted! Waitrose are certainly at the top of their game!!

Best roses I’ve ever bought

I’ve bought my wife Valentine’s Day flowers from a variety of providers over the last 10 years, with varying results. This year, after an unconvincing sales advisor in M&S couldn’t guarantee that the flowers would last more than 2 days (!) I ordered online from Waitrose, and these were the best roses we have ever had- delivery was tracked to the extent that I made some excuse for my wife to not go out for a few minutes as I knew the driver was just around the corner; the roses themselves were fantastic quality and are STILL GOING! 3 weeks later. Would definitely use again, really impressed, and my wife loves them.

I ordered some flowers and a few extras for Valentine’s Day 2020 before reading the reviews, but decided to trust my own judgement. So glad I did! Amazing quality roses/ chocolates/ wine, presented and packaged really well and I was kept informed of delivery all along. Really pleased with my items and my Fiancé loved them. Thank you so much!

Excellent service. I wanted to thank you for the excellent service I received. I ordered flowers for my mother, that were delivered to her workplace. I would like to send kind regards and appreciation to the excellent staff who updated my order details at short notice and were attentive and professional. a relative ordered some flower's for me as my Mum had passed away they were so awful it made me cry. Left outside by a bush, half dead broken and hardly any flowers really awful!Well an update Waitrose acted very quickly changed the flowers and they are now the best bunch of flowers I've ever had. Thank you and credit where credits due.

Excellent service! Beautiful flowers!

Ordered flowers and found the lady at the call centre to be very helpful and proficient. Unlike M&S. Totally stress free experience.The flowers arrived by 1.30pm on the day requested and were absolutely beautiful! The recipient sent me photos. She was delighted with them.The Yodel driver was very nice and the tracking they provided was excellent.I have seen some bad reviews on here but my experience is to the contrary. All those complaining about delivery times need to read the information on the website properly before leaving their reviews!It seems people only leave a review after a negative experience but more should leave a review when their experience has been positive. I give credit where it's due and will definitely use Waitrose again to send flowers.

Great service, quick delivery, beautiful flowers.

It's important to remember that many people will only usually review when something bad has happened.I bought some sympathy flowers on waitrose. Purchased Tuesday asked to deliver Thursday.After doing this I checked the reviews and was a bit nervous, it was important the flowers turned up in good shape!Thankfully early on Thursday the flowers and vase arrived and they were beautiful and the recipient was very thankful. The price of the flowers was very competitive and cheaper than a lot of the popular leading online florists.Will use again. Thanks.

ordered waitrose flowers for mother day…disappointed

ordered waitrose flowers for mother day roses and freesias cost £40 + delivery, freesias where fine, roses seemed ok to start with but drooped by day 2, mum was very disappointed, contacted waitrose and after being offered a gift card I asked for refund as did not want to buy anything else, they refunded £20 fair enough as half the flowers where ok, but did not make up for the disappointment and having to contact them in the first place, will not be buying flowers from them again, and would not recommended.

Ok but not great

Ok flowers, but you could probably buy the same bunch in a supermarket for around £12 to £15 and I paid £37. Also they didn’t send the chocolates (extra £12) I ordered. When I called customer services they said they couldn’t send the chocolates on their own so I got a refund for them. They were polite but it was for Mother’s Day and I wanted the chocolates! The flowers arrived on time but all in all a pretty average service. I wouldn’t bother again.

Amazing quaity flowers and reliable…

Amazing quaity flowers and reliable delivery.I don't understand all the bad reviews. The only thing Waitrose did wrong was hiring Yodel to be honest, but at least customer service is reachable. They provide good quality flowers and a specific day when your flowers can be delivered. I ordered a bouquet of white roses ONE day before my wedding and it was finally delivered around 8 pm that day as promised. I was so happy o see the condition of the flowers, which 4 days on and still look as beautiful as the day I got them. Customer service kept me informed throughout and made me feel valued. I would shop here again. Don't recommend for people who need it by a specified time of day, it clearly says they do not do that people.Thank you for the gorgeous flowers, will be forever in my heart and the wedding album!

Thank you customer service

I’ve had both a good and bad experience but the customer service was great. I was sent flowers at Xmas and the jug leaked. I called and was advised a new jug would be sent but it didn’t arrive. I called a couple of days ago to say I still hadn’t received it. To my surprise Waitrose sent me a completely new bunch of beautiful flowers, in a vase and a gift of some Green and Black chocolates. Well done Waitrose for the great customer service. Thank you
