Before I order from any online clothing…

Before I order from any online clothing or for anything else I’m definitely going by reviews and experience. The initial research I did was great so I decided to order a pair of grey Nike’s and got a little spooked only getting one confirmation email and to make the matters worse I dug a little deeper and came across these horrible experiences from customers and quickly called to inquire about my order and was surprised when customer service was great and answered all my questions and my order arrived as promised!! Sometimes reviews can’t be trusted just be sure to research, research, research until you feel comfortable! I will definitely be ordering from Nordstrom again in the very near future

AMBER team is the best ❤️

I don’t know the reason why they have so many bad reviews but my experience with their customer service was very very good. I had an issue with my shipping address leading to my account was locked. I did not know it was the shipping address issue so I changed my billing address and made the problem getting worse and my nordstrom card was locked as well. And AMBER team, a very kind and patient team I’ve ever seen in my life helped me getting through the process even though it Was very complicated because I messed up my information in the system. I appreciate what they did, not about my orders but their service. I love Nordstrom Rack, and will be their customer forever. Thanks AMBER team. If you have problem, try to reach out her team, you will see what I said is correct.

Love Nordstrom Rack

I don't know about all the other reviews...but from my experience they are great. Got the sneakers I wanted at a much cheaper price than other places. Sure I ordered 2 pairs of sneakers on the same transaction and both came 3 days apart, but I am satisfied with everything. Will order in the future.

Not too sure why all the negative…

Not too sure why all the negative reviews but was initially trying to order some Frye boots from Amazon Canada and US but my size was unavailable. Found them on Nordstrum Rack for an even better price with reasonable shipping to Canada...they arrived sooner than expected and in pristine condition. Will order again without hesitation. AAA

Love!!!

Love this place. Easy to return in store and clothing comes in looking like the actual clothes which is sadly a shocker now in the online shopping world of decently priced things. I receive my orders 3-4 days after placing (on average) and they make sure to specify how you can return by mail if needed!

12th Street raising star Brandon

I went to the store on 12th Street DC and I can honestly say I keep going back because of the professionalism of the young man named Brandon. This young man took time to style my rain boots on top of the other assistance he has given me. The patience he shows during my MANY questions is appreciated. Brandon always has a smile on his face and I leave with a grin on mine. He is by far one of Nordstrom Rack's raising stars..you need more professionals like Brandon

DC 18th and L store sucks

Love the website, not so much the stores. Yes, I've had some order cancellations and had to wait on some orders for a few weeks, but never had the problem with the order not arriving or the Rack telling me I've made too many returns. They also have given me account credit for the orders that were cancelled, and their sales are actually true discounts on previous prices, in contrast to Ruelala and Gilt who jack up the original price, cross it out, and give you a "discount," which is deceptive advertising.The store is a different story. I normally shop in the DC store on 18th NW and L St NW. This store is always a mess and I don't bother going there for anything other than shoes. That's what I did the other day and it was going well until an employee came to straighten up the shoes and started throwing the boxes and the shoes loudly and saying out loud "I hate shoes, I hate shoes!" He was clearly trying to get attention, looking at me and another female customer, until I said "Sucks for you, I guess." He then went to another isle and again I heard him say "I hate shoes!" Really, Nordstrom Rack?! You need to retrain your employees at the very least to tell them not to tell your customers they hate their jobs! Ridiculous and unpleasant.

This is a review on Nordstrom Rack online. It is an excellent online shopping site. You can easily find some great deals and if you know what you're going into at first then you will be happy. THEY SELL: Things that are overstock from last season / previous years, things in less popular colors or styles, things that people have returned one too many times to be sold as brand new at full price and cosmetics in less popular or discontinued shades or are too close to the expiry date to sell in store. They also sell mis-marked sizes (if you order your size you'll receive it, however it might show a differing size on the label.) It can be a wonderful deal. Sometimes though, I've ordered my size in items and receive the correct size tag but it's clearly either way too large or way too small. (Sometimes it takes Nordstrom Rack a bit to "catch up" to the knowledge and realize the size issues in what they sell and re-mark it accordingly.) BEWARE OF THE FAKES & FINAL SALE: They also seem to have a few fakes and factory defects that make their way in. I once purchased a Laura Mercier pressed powder that was clearly the wrong color and differing packaging than I'm used to with no seal and the wrong sponge included. (Fake?) I also purchased a concealer that arrived absent of outer packaging, opened and partially empty and completely dried out with the expiry date one month away. Unfortunately these items were FINAL SALE and could not be returned or exchanged, even though I'd received clearly fake or useless merchandise. That said, STAY AWAY FROM ANY FINAL SALE ITEMS, especially any cosmetic items because chances are there's good reason they're "final sale" (no one in their right mind would ever want them.) I'm assuming sometimes they will "get a deal" on something from a brand and that brand will be offering said deal to them because it's a bad dye lot or batch. These things usually end up on their sister site, HAUTELOOK. Hautelook is usually the "final sale" batch of whatever's there at Nordstrom Rack. The daily deals direct from the brands is where I go on that site because I'm guaranteed it's actually coming from the brand. Since the sites are connected I can check out on Rack. THE CART IS ANNOYING: I do not like the way things "expire" in one's cart. It's a way they get you to hurry up and buy faster because if someone else puts it into their cart, then you lose out. This happens because they often only have one of something. Items stay "on hold" in your cart for about 10 or 15 minutes before expiring but it's a real pain. They should just do away with that feature of the site and when something runs out, it's out. Simple as that.
