Ask and you shall not receive..

Ordered something & did not receive even though it says it's been shipped and I should receive a tracking link. Rubbish service.Update: No tracking info, but eventually the package arrived after contacting customer service. Slow response time but at least it all worked out eventually.

Fatface

Fatface you've really let me down badly. Ordered online before 2pm on sun actually it was more like 8am sunday morning and done next day delivery. It states to be ordered before 2pm to get next day delivery. I ordered dresses for a funeral bright and flowered ones as this is what was requested. Ive stayed in all day the following day because it was going to be next day delivery as didn't want to miss getting my hands on my dresses ready for funeral tomorrow morning. Now 4pm getting anxious so rang telephone number on email, they have informed me that its with the courier and won't get here till Tuesday not sure what time that's going to be. You've really let me down with next day delivery. Now highly stressed as i need to find a red dress before tomorrow morning 10am. All i got from lady on phone was a sorry. Next day delivery should be next day not anything else. Not a happy bunny

Returned items but no refund

Returned items to Knutsford store only to be told they have to post them back using My Hermes but I would get my refund the same as if I had returned to store. After 9 days I'd heard nothing.I now realise they could have taken the return in store there and then if I had insisted, the store manager just didn't want to.However, after reading my review, customer services got in touch and quickly sorted this for me and said they would also speak to the store so this does not happen again so I am glad to report faith in Fatface has been restored and I will buy again from them.Thanks for taking action Fatface

Great clothes, terrible customer service

UPDATE: I finally received the second two dresses I ordered, and I like them very much. The refunds are all sorted and I suppose it has all worked out in the end, thanks to Michael's intervention. I hope Fatface will get its act together and learn to run a professional business, because their clothes are really nice.Cute, well-made clothes, but abysmal customer service.Ordered a dress online for delivery to the US (website doesn't make it clear that shipment is from the UK) that didn't fit. Had to request a return label by email; four days later they sent a label that was addressed to me instead of from me; had to wait several days for the correct label.Placed a second order for two other dresses. After no update nine days after being notified they had been shipped, called to follow up. Dialing the phone number in the email order confirmation reached a recording that stated the number was changed in September 2017; I was then transferred to terminal hold. Called the new number and got through to a rep who stated shipment had been handed over to FedEx. Called back to inform them that per FedEx, a label was created but they never received anything. Was then informed that FatFace had no idea what had happened to my order, that sometimes this just happens and no one ever knows where the order went. Meanwhile, the dresses I ordered are now out of stock.Was told I might be able to order from a store in the US (I wish I had known this in the first place! Why would I order a shipment from the UK when I could order from within the US?).Called one of the US stores; they had one of the dresses I wanted. They took my info and said it would go out the next day. We had a discussion about the fact I would only be at this address for a limited period of time but they felt confident it would arrive in time. Now today, two days later, I call to find they have not yet shipped it out, but they promise they will do today. I've now had them change the shipping address to the next city I will be traveling to, because I don't trust them to get it here in time.I found FatFace through a Facebook ad, and I was excited that they had so many items I really liked -- I thought I had finally found a clothing company I could rely on. Unfortunately, their customer service is so incompetent and amateurish I will never do business with them again. The world here in the 21st century is full of companies that can actually deliver the products they sell; there's no excuse for this kind of bumbling.UPDATE: Literally one minute after posting this review I got an email stating my order from the UK has cleared customs in the US. The US store, meanwhile, has just dropped my order off at the post office. They won't be able to process my refund, though, if I return this order, because their system requires them to have a physical credit card to process refunds. So I will have to wait to get the unwanted item, then ship it to a different store and follow up with a phone call to that store, which has an older credit card machine and can process refunds over the phone. You just can't make this stuff up.

The 3 stars are for the staff in the St Andrews shop, it would be 5 but for the rubbish online service. As i say use the store no problem but was busy and decided to order online. Wrong product turned up and it was not as straightforward as it should be to resolve this matter. A good online service is surely vital in this day and age, must do better.

Excellent customer service on the phone

I have just rung the fatface store in Whitely to make a stock enquiry and was met with the most delightful lady on the other end of the phone who went to some trouble to find a coat I was searching for. She was very pleasant and fun on the phone, very impressed. When visiting the store in person I have always had good customer service, thank you fat face.

Just about OK!

Order 3 tops on line. Took 5 days to despatch, 7 days to deliver. Not really impressed with the service especially when l ordered a £700 camera from Hong Kong the same day and received in 3 days.

Great designs, poor quality manufacture, unfortunate shop experience

I love fatface clothes. I hardly buy anything anywhere else. But in recent times the clothes that I buy are just not that well made. Buttons fall off easily, the cut isn't done well and things are generally lopsided. This is such a shame. I recently ordered lots of clothes in the online sale and picked them up in store. Staff in the store were very chatty and friendly but after I'd returned most of the clothes after trying them on in store, I was still in the store when I overheard the sales assistant who had served me and been all friendly and nice making unfortunate comments to another member of staff about me for returning the clothes. This is not really acceptable, even if they did think that I had left the shop, and it makes me not really want to go back into that particular shop.
