Just waiting to get off the ferry at zeebrugge, what a lovely trip!The crew seemed to be mostly Asian, all from car deck to bar staff to kitchen staff, shop etc were all very attentive and helpful!!Well done! Thank you for a lovely journey

Great service

Travelled from Calais to Dover by ferry. Lovely ferry, easy to book, hassle free, logical system compared to other ferries we have experienced. Cheaper than the Euro tunnel. Would recommend.

Use P & O to travel over the Chanel a few times a year, great service, lovely staff, one of the older boats is a bit dated, but still very comfortable, the food on board is of a very good standard, we often enjoy the Fish & Chips on our return home, an excellent way to travel to France.

Lost boarding card: Instant help!

Just had to ring customer services as I had lost my boarding card for my return leg Zeebrugge - Hull. Got through to the 0800 number no problems from abroad; was only kept waiting a few seconds. A very friendly lady (unfortunately I did't get her name) was very helpful and sorted my problem out in two minutes. Well done P&O North Sea Customer Services!

Disabled passenger treatment.

On the 17th of October 16 I caught the Pride of York at Hull to go to Zeebrugge. I have a blue badge but I was not looking for special treatment. I was surprised when one of the people directing cars to the ship noticed the blue badge and stopped me to ask if I needed to be put near a lift on the boat. I declined the offer saying I just move slower these days. He asked if it was a wheel chair in the back of my vehicle and I told hm it was a folding bike which I was getting electrified to cope with my lack of good mobility. A second car directing person nearer the ship again asked me if I would like be near a lift, again I declined. I left the places near the lifts for people worse off than me.OK, five out of five for the car loaders working for P&O Ferries at the King Georges Dock in Hull. Great observation and great attitude.I have knocked one star off the five due to the poor attitude of the G4S loaders working for P&O Ferries at Zeebrugge coming back Wednesday the 19th of October 16 on the Pride of Brugge.The weather was absolutely awful, extremity strong winds from the sea driving the downpour horizontal. You were drenched in two seconds.There was a young lady with attitude ordering cars to be so close that getting to the boot of the car in front would be difficult.The young lady was dressed in full foul weather clothing yet she was ordering disabled drivers to get out of their vehicles just in shirt sleeves in the foul conditions to open their car boots so that she could see the contents. She didn't move anything so anything being smuggled with a towel over it would get through. It looked as though she was only doing it to show her power.When it came to my turn with my Suzuki Jimny I told her that the rear door was unlocked and that she cold open it if she wished.She couldn't do that she said.So I had to struggle out of my car getting soaking wet, not being able to open the drivers door wide, to move 2 feet to open the rear door, the door which the lady with attitude would not open. She gave the contents a fleeting glance after all that. The disabled badge was clearly displayed.There supposed to be similar treatment for disabled people n the UK and Europe. Perhaps the lady with attitude had not heard of that?Next time the same circumstances occur I am going to refuse to get out of the car claiming disability and see what they do then.G4S say they have excellent customer service on their web site but they have a reputation of letting prisoners go and ineptitude. Perhaps the lady with attitude was from the prison service?P&O Ferries would do well to to replace G4S with another contractor who would do realistic checks related to security with a human face and with the same attitude as Hull.So, one compliment and one criticism.
