Cheapest Ticket
Today i bought a ticket via studentuniverse. It was around 100 Dollar cheaper than the 2nd cheapest ticket. I have read all negative reviews previously and I was scared to book. But then i contacted their customer support via the chat and they could help me so fast with my questions I had. Such support (Chat) I have never seen on any other travel agency website.

A Cautious 4 Stars - Good but inflexible
I'm giving them a cautious 4 stars for now. The customer service is professional and quick from my experience. And they are cheap. A lot of people seem to complain that this company is bad because they had to cancel a flight and were charged. But this seems to be the case with many providers. Just be aware that there does not seem to be a flexible ticket option and if you need to change your flight for any reason, you will probably be out of luck, and it will be very expensive. I am still unsure about this process of getting extra personal details. I often give fake numbers associated with my credit cards to obfuscate these forms of intrusion into private matters. It might just be standard procedures.Anyway, my experience thus far has been positive, if only because they are cheaper and were so swift to respond and resolve my issue.

Flight Refunds due to Coronavirus Outbreak
I was on the line for 2 hours (I understand that many people are probably trying to do the same thing) but I was determined to fix my flight reservation. I booked my flight to Milan, Italy and I was suppose to leave in 3 weeks. As you all know due to the Coronavirus spreading quickly in that country and now that it is at Level 3- Reconsider Travel. Studentuniverse first checked with the airlines to see if they have cancelled this flight (American Airlines) and checked any travel alerts/advisory, which they did! They gave me two options - either I can reschedule my flight before June 2020 or receive a full refund without the processing fee ($6). I got a refund instead and rebooked my flight to another country with less concerning for Coronovirus. I think Studentuniverse are fair and you can read their terms and conditions about refunds, cancellations, etc. When you call them you have to explain the whole situation clearly. I’ve been using them because the flight tickets are very reasonable for students on a budget! The representative was very nice and patient!

flight change and refund with no problem
I recently used Studentuniverse to book my flights between China and Australia. Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus, many flights were cancelled or rescheduled, including mine. Although it's hard to reach a representative through the helpline (you can imagine how many people's flights had been affected and needed to call them), their reply to my e-mail and wechat messages was quick. I was able to cancel my flights with no fuss. Emails were sent to me whenever a resolution was confirmed and refund was received within few days. I would highly recommend Studentuniverse, not only for their cheap price, but also good service.

Sorry to see all these negative reviews. Student Universe provided me with a cheap flight from Kathmandu to Colombo. It was very easy and reliable process. I needed to change the dates of my flight and I was able to contact a customer care representative easily via telephone. Even though I didn't end up changing the dates (due to the cost of changing tickets) I really appreciated the help I got from them. They were upfront, sincere and easy to use. Will definitely use again.
