Melted!

I ordered 2 boxes, to make the best of the next 2 Bank Holidays at home. The boxes were in perfect condition, but the chocolates had melted and re-solidified. It was challenging to see which was which in some cases, and some were harder than they should have been, although all were delicious. The courier isn't to blame because there was nothing on the box to indicate that it was Thornton's or even chocolates, and no insulation or instructions for keeping them cool. An online search revealed that Thornton's has been having this trouble since at least 2011, so it should have been sorted by now, especially given how expensive the contents are.

Fantastic Customer Service

On ordering a bundle of sales products we very quickly received the parcel. However on opening we found the large Easter eggs had melted quite dramatically. We promptly contacted Thornton’s by email to make them aware of this issue to receive a phone call from their customer service department late Saturday afternoon.I was then informed by Jo that I should take photos of the items and send back to her. She then informed me that the order would be sent out again.Well the turnover of ordering the initial products to receiving the second parcel was all done in a timely manner and I can say that the service is second to none and also the product itself cannot be beat.So Jo McMaster, Customer Service Representative, please accept a big thank you as you are what makes a company like Thornton’s.Keep up the exemplary work.Thank youGillian

Orders on time

To make someone happy....

I purchased a large box of continental choclates for my son who was feeling down after self isolating on his own for 7 weeks. When they were delivered, within a few days of ordering; he was so thrilled! The gift wrap was gorgeous and well worth the extra small charge.
