Were great with my situation.
They seem to be getting a lot of flack, unjustified from my experience. The guys at Mile End store were brilliant with me - they were the only store with a large hybrid in London, but once i'd arrived to pick up my bike, they found a larger 22" in stock which I gleefully took away with me an hour later after it had been assembled. Yeh, the queues are long, yeh Halfords is short on a lot of stuff, but there's a pandemic on, the staff are trying their best, and they've got a lot of customers taking it out on them for no reason. Tend to find that treating the staff with respect you get a lot further...

Great service particularly under current circumstances.
Had to have a new battery fitted to my car today. Martin who did the fitting was very efficient and friendly: obviously knew exactly what he was doing. Good price for a top class make battery as well. The arrangements under current lockdown were well organised to maintain social distancing and no contact. Well done.

Al the Team in Chingford are always so professional and helpful. I only visit this branch as far better in comparison to the poor service from Chadwell Heath). Just got my mountain bike wheel repair. Thanks in particular to Declan, Radic and Sam for being very helpful.

Bought a bike from the website took a while due to the currant situation and stock, found one and ordered this on the cycle to work scheme, it was cheaper than the voucher so mailed the team who sorted things out very fast so I could order bits I needed lights, lock, helmet & frame bag, was expected to pick up on the 6th May but had a call to say it was ready, went down to pick up all was great and efficient from Gabby on the desk, unfortunately my other items had not arrived, not to worry I could pick them up on the 6th, then the manager sorry I did not get his name, think he was the manager said the delivery would be next day and he would drop them off at my house after work, true to his word he arrived with the items, I would say he went out of his way to satisfy a customer, a truly great experience from Halfords Tritton Rd Lincoln, thank you all so much, stay safe

Ordered a Boardman bike for click and…
Ordered a Boardman bike for click and collect at the Oldbury branch. When collecting the staff pointed out a hairline crack in the forks which I would of never seen, it was the last bike and it was being discontinued, being the current situation they replaced the forks from another bike for me whilst waiting for new ones to arrive.They also refunded a discount for the inconvenience.The honesty and service was amazing from Jamie the branch manager.Thank you very much, love my bike even with different coloured forks.

Good Customer Service
I was looking for a bike online in Halfords Kirkcaldy. Which they were showing out of stock. I called the branch and spoke to a girl called Louise. I wasnt expecting much as everywhere is short staffed at the moment. But she couldn't have been more helpful if she tried. She was back and forward to the warehouse while I was on the phone. I did buy a bike. Thanks to her.I do feel if I called somewhere else I wouldn't have got the good service. I feel good customer service goes a long way, so thank you.Paul.

Almost ruined a birthday but eventually resolved
Ordered a bike 3 weeks before my daughter's birthday with the build service. The website states 2 working days, but I got a call to say it would take a week. That's ok, I understand in the current climate that things can take a little longer.After a week though no bike. I wait a few more days, still no bike. Call the store, press 5 to speak to somebody - get cut off immediately. Use the online chat, they can't help but will get somebody from the store to call me with an update within 24 hours. 2 days later still no call. Try calling the store again, press 5 to speak to somebody - get cut off immediately.EDITAfter reaching out via Twitter, somebody from the store called to say the bike was ready for collection. Despite previously being told not to collect until I received a text message, the bike was ready. Poor communication and hassle to resolve, but some positives that it was sorted.

Very helpful young lady in Canterbury
Very pleased with the service I received at Canterbury. Branch open for click and collect but young lady got all the things I asked for in the store as closed to members of the public and I paid and she sent me a receipt by email. Fab valuable essential service as my car needs a bad wash which I will do once the rain stops some time this wee.

Brilliant service from cycling department…
Brilliant service from Gareth in Carmarthen. Repaired a slashed tyre on my bicycle while I waited. Great system in place to ensure social distancing, well organised and respected by all customers. Cashier shielded and easy contactless payment. Gareth was very welcoming and cheerful. He did other little jobs on the bike while it was there, inflating the other tyre and rectifying the odometer. All staff in this branch are very pleasant and efficient. John G.
