I was hesitant to order after reading…
I was hesitant to order after reading other reviews but the prices were reasonable and I wanted to take the chance. I made sure everything I wanted was in stock in US warehouses before purchasing, this was key. My order arrived in about a week amidst the pandemic and had everything nicely packed. I ordered the wrong servo for my application and submitted a help request. Ralph answered within an hour, had me send pictures, and politely explained the error. He suggested some correct parts that were in stock. I am very happy with everything and felt the need to write a positive review. Again, everything I ordered was in stock and in the US so I think that is key to success.

Excellent especially during this time
Had a small wait whilst UK deliveries where shut due to covid but as soon as they opened they send express which came date late due to virus... Items where fastest I've received during this time all items were awesome and will be making my second order very soon thx

The model I received from Hobby King…
The model I received from Hobby King had a broken canopy. I believe it was done at the factory by wrapping the bubble wrap too tight. Everything else was in great shape and no damage to the box. I contacted them and they asked me to send them a picture. I did and they ordered a new canopy for me at no charge. You can't ask for much more than that.Ron

Excellent customer support.
I purchased a model aircraft from HobbyKing which was delivered very promptly. Unfortunately there were issues with some of the electrics. I contacted Hobbyking and they immediately issued an RMA.And I was instructed to return the aircraft to them for inspection and asked to include a copy of the mailing receipt.The bottom line? Hobbyking replaced the aircraft and gave me a store credit for the $111.00 mailing bill no questions asked. The support team at Hobbyking kept me fully informed of the situation and its progress internally at HobbyKing. The support team generated a strong feeling of customer support and focus. I normally don't single out an individual within an organisation, however Bill A is an excellent point of contact within HobbyKing, Thank you Bill, and of course HobbyKing

Is Hobbyking's customer service getting better?
I like Hobbyking's products; I think that generally they are well-priced and innovative. However, over the years I have had some bad experiences with their customer services. As I wrote in a previous review their tactic seemed to be to stone-wall customers until they went away. However, there appears to be some light on the horizon in the shape of one particular customer service agent. This agent, Bill A., stepped in to deal with a sales problem after a 4-month ongoing "battle". His predecessors had been unwilling to address or solve the (very valid) issue, which led to considerable frustration and anger. However, to be fair, Bill's performance as a customer service agent deserves 5 stars. He proactively took ownership of the problem and did not give up until it had been solved entirely to my satisfaction, and I cannot fault his actions. My overall score reflects the fact that I have had chequered experiences with Hobbyking's customer service in the past but, at last, there may be change afoot. There is, at least, one agent who goes out of his way to ensure customer satisfaction!

Excellent service at great prices
Going off the majority of the reviews, I felt a bit sceptical ordering from the website. However, I decided to bite the bullet and order with my credit card to give me added protection should I be unlucky. Thankfully, that was not required.Ordered some great bargains which were coming from the China warehouse. It was made clear where they were stocked, and I double-checked all my goods were coming from same place to help on postage. Paid for the fully tracked international post, and 10 days later I received my goods safely in the UK. I knew it wasn't going to be quick, and to be fair, was expecting it to take at least another week.Website can be glitchy, especially on mobile devices as it lags and often froze for me. However, the range of products is vast and, whilst not everything is stocked, what they do sell are at excellent prices.Lots of negativity that I don't believe is fully honest. I loved the service, and would most certainly return should the right goods come up.

Great friendly service but slow restocking times
I have had nothing but good experiences with hobbyking from my very first order to my most recent, my only issue is parts for my desert fox being on backorder for what seems like an eternity. Other then that been great. I try to make sure everything I buy is in stock in the US Warehouse, makes shipping a breeze. I'm sad to see them get such a bad rep. Quality wise the products are pretty good. I absolutely love the Graphene batteries they sell

Well.i used to order from hobbyking
Well.i used to order from hobbyking but now they stick a 20 pounds postage charge on lipos. A 5 pound battery will cost you 25 with shipping. They told me its classed as dangerous goods. 6 months ago they only charged a fiver.. other places send for free so im sure they can do it cheaper. Ebay here i come

I read the one star reviews and...
With all these one star reviews and they still can't keep their stock? Come on! If you give a one star review you should not be allowed to order from their site!I read most of these single star reviews and most of them are because of stupidity. Take your time when ordering items. If you see an item in the USA warehouse and you have others only available in the China warehouse, then switch the USA to China to save on shipping. The cost of the product is cheaper coming from China anyway. This seems to be the largest gripe. Also, if you are ordering items from China and you spend enough to get free shipping, don't expect your item to be delivered in the next few days (as is with purchasing in the US warehouse), give them a few weeks (4 to 6) to get the item to you. Shipping is expensive, so they do what they can to get the price as low as possible. The fact of the matter is, they sell so many products that no one else has. They sell the spinners, servos, motors, ESC's, batteries, chargers, and linkages, hinges, ball joints, just every little thing you can think of, not to mention a wide variety of hobby tools at very cheap prices. No way can anyone make those that inexpensive. I am in awe as to what they can do with the pricing they have.With this, if you have an item which brakes AFTER you play with it, guess what, that is YOUR FAULT! Your BROKE it! If, however, it never worked, then they expect pictures and descriptions, but I have always received store credit for the amount of the item because, why not? I will end up buying more stuff, its is my hobby! HaHa! It's supposed to be fun, and it is. Flying RC planes is by far the best hobby in the world. So don't listen to these one star reviews, just click that button and buy an RC plane! You will not regret it and if you crash, just buy another (maybe a simulator too so you can get better). Once you learn to fly, it is the best feeling in the world and HobbyKing is one of the best vendors out there.This is an expensive hobby, so don't get mad when you waste money. This hobby is all about wasting money. If you don't have it, don't get into it.
